1. About BriefIt

BriefIt is a marketplace that connects clients who need creative work with independent creatives. BriefIt is not a party to the agreement between a client and a creative, and creatives are not BriefIt employees.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private.
  • One person or business per account. Accounts may not be sold or transferred.

3. Briefs and applications

  • Clients must describe the work, budget (in BWP) and deadline honestly.
  • Creatives must only apply for work they can deliver and only show work they made or have the right to show.
  • Once a client hires a creative, both agree to the scope, price and delivery in the brief and application unless they agree changes in BriefIt messages.

4. Payments

Clients pay creatives the agreed price. Keep payment terms in writing in BriefIt messages. Never send money to anyone who asks you to pay outside the agreed terms.

5. Ownership of work

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the creative transfers rights to the final delivered work to the client once paid in full. The creative may show the work in their portfolio unless the client asks them not to.

6. Conduct

  • No harassment, discrimination, scams, spam, fake reviews or illegal content.
  • No sharing other users' personal details without permission.
  • Use the Report button for anything that breaks these rules.

7. Moderation

We may remove content, close briefs, or suspend accounts that break these terms. Ratings must reflect a real completed job.

8. Disputes

Problems between a client and a creative are handled under our Dispute Policy.

9. Liability

BriefIt is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by the laws of Botswana, we are not liable for the quality of work, missed payments, or losses arising from agreements between users.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will notify you of important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana.
